1. The 30-minute conversation

    30 minutes

No prep. No slides. No charge. You describe what you are working through. We listen, ask harder questions, and tell you honestly whether we are the right firm for the problem. If we are not, we will say so, and where possible we will point you to someone who is. If we are, we will propose a clear next step before we hang up.

    What to expect

    • A direct read on whether the problem is one we can help with
    • An honest no, with a referral when we know one, if we are not the right fit
    • A proposed next step, in writing, when we are
  2. Discovery & diagnosis

    1–3 weeks

A short, focused engagement to understand the actual state of your platform, program, or team. We talk to the people who hold the real picture, review the artifacts that matter, and stay out of the way of your day-to-day. The deliverable is a clear, focused written diagnosis: what is true today, what is causing the pain, and what the realistic paths forward look like. Concise enough to read in one sitting, specific enough to act on.

    What to expect

    • A short list of structured interviews with the right people
    • A written diagnosis, plain English, sized to be read in one sitting
    • A working session to walk through findings and surface disagreement
  3. Recommendation & plan

1 week from end of diagnosis

A candid, prioritized recommendation. What we believe should happen, in what order, with what tradeoffs. The plan is sized for execution by your team, our team, both, or an implementation partner of your choosing. We tell you the truth about which path serves you best, and the choice is yours.

    What to expect

    • A clear scope and order of operations
    • Effort and timeline estimates we can defend
    • Identification of who does what, including parts your team should own
  4. Delivery

    Scoped per engagement

The work itself: implementation, advisory, fractional leadership, automation build, or whatever the recommendation called for. The people who scoped the work are the people who deliver it. Weekly visibility into progress, decisions, and tradeoffs. No surprises at the end of a phase.

    What to expect

    • Weekly written updates with what changed, what is next, and what needs your decision
    • Direct access to senior practitioners on every conversation
    • Adaptation when reality differs from the plan, and honesty when it does
  5. Handoff & ongoing advisory

    On-call after handoff

When the work is done, your team owns it. We document what we built, train the people who will run it, and keep an open line for escalations or quarterly check-ins. Our success is measured by how confidently your team runs the work after we step away.

    What to expect

    • Written documentation for what we delivered, in language your team can maintain
    • A handover session and a defined contact path for follow-up questions
    • Optional fractional or quarterly review engagements when the situation warrants
